Our steaks are thick cut and average between 20 and 25 ounces per steak. Some 16 ounce steaks are available upon request. Sirloin steaks are generally larger and are between 28 and 35 ounces per steak.
Roast size on average is between 2.6 and 3.5 pounds per roast.

What We Do
Beef
We raise black angus, simmental, and speckled park beef cows.
Dairy
We milk holstein & jersey cows with robotic milkers.
Cereal, Legume, & Forage Production
We grow and harvest all the forage that we feed to our animals on our farm. We also grow wheat and soybeans.
Gardening
Growing suculents and cut flowers for sale.

Our farm is going onto our third generation of family farmers.
Tony & Nellie Droogh
After immigrating to Canada from the Netherlands, Tony & Nellie Droogh saved their money to purchase a farm in Merrickville. In 1975 they moved to Ottawa with their 5 children and purchased a farm there.
John & Dianne Droogh
In 1987 a partnership was made and then in 1997 they formally owned the farm.
